My experience in print publications and web and social media communications has taught me the importance of not just the big picture but also the details — and the stories — we often overlook.

So far, I have shed light on a primate sanctuary, delved into the world of start-up companies and explored the process of 3-D printing. 

I have chatted with an MTV executive producer, swapped stories with a voice actress, interviewed the "John Wayne of football," recounted the fairytale life of a Disney executive and shared the experiences of two-time brain cancer survivors.

When I'm not hunting down the next story lead, you can find me copy editing for fun, daydreaming of traveling the world, binge-watching the last season of "Doctor Who" or singing along to Maroon 5's latest hit.
